Every year our development team spends one month learning new technology by creating their own original software products that are totally separate (but equally as awesome as!) Pure Chat. This year they split into groups and spent those 30 days making two free products small businesses can use to improve their marketing. So, without further ado, our team would like to present:

Fetch Hudson — The simplest way to keep tabs on your competition.
QuickVid.io — Turn photos into videos in just minutes.

Intrigued? We hope so! Feel free to visit those sites and try those tools right now or read on to learn more and find out how they work.

Fetch Hudson

Fetch Hudson lets you see your competitor’s top social posts, new blog posts and website changes in a single timeline, so you can see what’s working for them and stay on the cutting edge in your industry. To get set up, you just have to enter the web addresses of your top competitors and Fetch Hudson will pull in their social profile information and blog feed. With this information you can improve on a competitor’s blog post or experiment with some of their social strategies. Here’s an example of what a local business could see in their timeline:

QuickVid.io

It might be hard to believe, but in 2015 Mark Zuckerberg  reported that Facebook generates 8 billion views daily. Wow! Make sure your business is taking advantage of all these eyeballs and incorporate video into your social strategy. With QuickVid.io it only takes minutes to turn marketing assets like photos or graphics into videos that can be shared directly to Facebook. All you need to do is drag in the images you want to use, some music and a caption. Then QuickVid turns it into a sharable video that can be used in ads or shared organically.

We welcome you to try out these two, new products and let us know what you think. Keep in mind that everything might not be perfect (they were whipped up pretty quickly!), but we have no doubt they’ll be useful tools in your marketing toolbox.
